After a long time lurking around my favorite kinky blogs and internet spaces, I thought that maybe I could contribute to the wonderful conversations surrounding the spanking kink and other sexual fetishes in general. Specifically, to see if I had a unique voice to lend... and maybe even help somebody. I've seen a lot of examples of in-the-closet spankos who buck up their courage due to the support they've received online, from spanking blogs and other communities. So, inspired by a few bloggers and online spanko personalities, this blog is birthed. Hooray!

The name, "Sins of Wonder," is a sort of malaprop of "Sense of Wonder," a phenomenon that describes the affect of the strange, awesome, or divine. I was raised religiously - church every sunday - and instilled with a heaping amount of guilt. The only sex education I ever had was in sunday school class - where they told me that sex before marriage and masturbation were sins. Sex purely for pleasure? SIN. Mutual masturbation? SIN. Oral sex? It's okay. 

No, just kidding. IT'S A SIN.*

It should be obvious to everyone that I don't agree. At all. What they called Sin was simply another pleasurable bit of a world that contains a lot to be enjoyed and to be grateful for. Thus "Sins of Wonder."

*I don't know exactly what effect all this had on me, but I do know that I managed to escape with a healthy love of sex and kink. Actually, I've been a spanko all my life. I don't know how it happened, actually. But that is a story for a different post.
